Scrapbook Expo report!

Well, we have our first Expo of the year under our belt and all in
all I would say it was pretty successful. Everyone loved our "Card Candy" and most said it was the best make and take of the show.
Our Card Collection boards were a very big hit.

We want to thank all of you who stopped to say hello. We will all be back at The Rubberstamp and Scrapbook Show on September
20th and 21st at the Expo Center in St. Charles. Please stop and see us.

Today's Breakfast Club Cards!

These are todays offerings! The card all the way to the left is a acrylic paint technique. My good friend Geri had this on one of her cards and I had to learn this technique. It is done with two colors of Acrylic Paint and gives your regular white cardstock a wonderful rich finish.
The next card is an A-2 card folded in a tri-fold. I use Penelope Paper and of course it has "card candy." The next card is my new favorite technique, Bandana! It has 3 colors of Palette Ink and is stamped with Paisley Rockz. Highlight this technique with white Gel Pen and you have a real winner. The last card is done with my favorite retired Paper Collection, Bella Flor! We still have some left on a special offer if you would like to have some. And........."Card Candy." Everyone seemed to enjoy making these cards. If you would like to come to Monday Morning Breakfast Club just let me know. We always have a good time!

Happy Stamping everyone!

Don't forget the Expo this week-end! Stop and say hello!

Sneak Peak!

Well, it's almost here! Scrapbook Expo opens August 22 and continues on the 23rd. I sure hope to see you there. We have been working very hard to inspire you with new ideas. My board is Willoughby. The Clock is a project I have been wanting to do for a long time. It represents "Angel Time!" The pictures on the clock are from Seminar and Diamond Island.

You know what we say........"being an Angel is just more fun."
The Technique on the clock is Bandana (my new favorite.) I used Palette
inks, Chartreuse, Bordeaux and Violette to make my background and stamped with Palette Noir. The stamp set is T2315 Paisley Rockz. I also added our Angel Wings Logo. It is then highlighted with our White Gel Pen.
Also want to mention that there are still a few more openings in our "Classroom" on Friday and Saturday. You can order your tickets in advance by going to http://scrapbookexpo.com
Stop and say hello.

Projects for Scrapbook Expo!

I have been busy working on my display board for Scrapbook Expo which will take place in St. Charles, IL on August 22 and 23.
The first 3 items are going on my board and the 3 that look like something good to eat are samples of "card candy" that Rita Kegg taught us to do. She said they were "addictive" and she was not kidding. They are so much fun to do. If you are coming to the show stop by our booth and make a couple. You will be hooked.
We hope to see you there. I will be posting more projects as I complete them.
The top three items are all made with our new Soar With It Collection, Willoughby. This paper is so beautiful with so many projects. Some of the stamp sets used are:
T2622 Artsy Elements,
T2940 Decorative Corners
T2812 Family Fun
T2820 Just A Note
T1186 Tag Tidbits
T2951 Always Remember
All of these sets and more can be seen on my website http://patg.ismyangel.net

Breakfast Club Cards!

These are 3 of the 5 cards we did at Breakfast Club today. The other 2 were wonderful but "stamp lifted" from Rita Kegg when we were at
Diamond Island. My "stampers" loved all of them.

Diamond Island Projects!

Two weeks ago I had the opportunity to go to Diamond Island with some very special Angels. We all brought projects to do and they were awesome. This is Teri's project. It is a purse scrapbook made with one of my most favorite paper collections, Willoughby. This is the paper collection you want for all of your Fall projects. As you can see there is a place for photos and a journaling box and tucked inside the two side pockets are two round pages to add photos to. Check out Rita, Meri and Dawns' Blogs to see their version of this project.
Happy Stamping everyone!
